All successful reservations are confirmed by sending the reservation form to your email. In case of rejection, the full payment amount will be refunded before the reservation. Details about the carrier will be provided only after the successful completion of the reservation.
Your reservation represents a direct contract between you and the carrier. The operation of Greek Lux Transfer is limited to facilitating the creation of this contract, and we are not responsible for any aspect of the services provided by the service provider.
Reservation Process:
All transportation services offered on our website have been approved by the carrier.
The information you enter in the reservation form is provided to the carrier to confirm the transportation service. It is crucial to check and ensure that all details, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, dates, and times, are correct. In case you identify any errors, please inform us immediately. The carrier will use this information during the reservation process to collect and transport you to your destination, trying to be as close to your accommodation as possible, considering the vehicle characteristics and natural access conditions.
Due to limitations such as infrastructure works or traffic conditions, boarding/debarking from/to your hotel may not be possible. In such cases, the vehicle will stop at the nearest accessible point for passenger collection. Also, if the shortest route is closed or if the carrier follows a different route due to your request, additional costs may apply.
You confirm that the credit or debit card you are using is yours, and there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the service. Payments that cannot be made may lead to the cancellation of the reservation and the non-execution of the service.
After successful payment, you will receive a receipt and confirmation via email. This is not a reservation confirmation but confirms the processing of your request by the carrier. The official reservation confirmation will be sent to you as soon as the carrier accepts your request, and you must present it to the driver at the beginning of the journey. After the completion of the transfer, you will receive a service provision receipt via email within 24 hours.
Transportation Costs and Payment:
On our website, you can find details regarding the prices for the service, as well as the payment and delivery procedures. The applicable price for each service is the one displayed on our website at the date and time of your reservation. Once your reservation is confirmed, you have the right to have the fare shown on the meter during your transfer.
If the cost of the service is higher than what is stated in your reservation, we will inform you, and then you can either cancel your reservation and receive a full refund or rebook it at the correct price.
Payment must be made in full with a credit or debit card at the time of your reservation. The accepted cards are specified in the booking form on our website. Additionally, card issuers may charge certain transfer fees that you are responsible for during your payment.
Note that all prices are quoted per vehicle, not per person.
Special Requests:
It is possible to add special requests, such as child seats, additional luggage space, space for golf clubs, etc., at the time of booking. However, we cannot guarantee their availability on the day of your transfer, and we are not responsible if they are not available. In case of inability to fulfill special requests, the additional amount you paid for them will be refunded.
Modifications to Your Reservation – General Information:
For any changes you wish to make to your reservation, please inform us in writing at [email protected]. Changes are subject to the approval of the Carrier, and their confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided during the reservation. Modifications are allowed up to 24 hours before the scheduled transfer.
In case of an increase in the cost due to a change of destination, vehicle size, or other parameters, you will be notified by email about the additional cost and the payment method. In case of a decrease in the total amount, the difference will be refunded.
The Carrier monitors the arrival of your plane, and in case of changes, delays, or flight number changes, please inform us immediately.
Upon your arrival, the Carrier waits for up to 60 minutes at the designated meeting point you specified. If you anticipate a delay exceeding 60 minutes, please notify us, as additional charges may apply. If none of your group appears after 60 minutes, the Carrier will contact you. Please provide feedback on any changes or delays.
In case the meeting is not at the airport, the Carrier waits for up to 20 minutes. If no one appears, contact them. If there is still no communication, the reservation is canceled, and the money is not refunded.
In case of difficulty in locating the driver, inform Greek Lux Transfers immediately. If there is no communication and we are not informed, the transfer is considered canceled, and the money is not refunded.
Drivers reserve the right to refuse transport if they suspect the influence of alcohol or drugs, with no refund. Alcohol consumption is prohibited in vehicles, except for other instructions. Luggage is transported at the passengers’ responsibility, and we do not accept liability for losses or damages. All vehicles comply with local legislation and are fully insured.
Cancellations:
Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled transfer. If a reservation is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled transfer, no refund will be issued.
In the event of cancellation 24 hours before the scheduled transfer, the full amount of the transfer will be refunded to the customer in the same manner as the payment. Bank transaction fees are the customer’s responsibility.
Our Liability:
Greek Lux Transfers is not liable for any illness, injury, death, or loss of any kind, including the loss, damage, or theft of any belongings or personal items belonging to either you or your fellow passengers.
In the event our liability is confirmed, the maximum compensation to you is limited to twice the cost of your reservation or the equivalent amount if other individuals in your reservation are not affected.
Force Majeure:
In cases of force majeure, neither we nor the Carrier will provide compensation if we are forced to cancel or modify any service due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our or the Carrier’s control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, accidents and related delays, unforeseen routes, demonstrations, organized disturbances, police operations, unforeseen road hazards, terrorist activities and their consequences, threats of such activities, riots, government or other national or local authority acts, labor disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions, or similar situations beyond our or the Supplier’s control.
Passenger Responsibilities:
By entering into this agreement, the customer declares that they are of legal age and fully capable, allowing them to comply with all legal responsibilities in this agreement.
The customer understands and agrees to promptly inform Greek Lux Transfers of any changes or updates that could affect the provided service, either through email or the provided phone numbers, facilitating the exchange of information.
Moreover, the customer confirms that the credit or debit cards used belong to them.
The transfer is provided according to the personal information submitted during the reservation process. It is your responsibility to confirm the accuracy of all details. In case of discrepancies, you are urged to inform us immediately. Note that if the transfer is not completed due to incorrect information during the reservation process or lack of timely information to Greek Lux Transfers (at least 24 hours before the transfer), no refund will be provided.
Additionally, you are responsible for carrying the reservation form, including all relevant instructions for your arrival and emergency contact numbers. Neither Greek Lux Transfers nor the Carrier are liable for any cancellation of the service due to the absence of the reservation form.
In case of flight diversion, please contact our helpline immediately to explore alternative solutions. Note that neither Greek Lux Transfers nor the Carrier are obliged to pay amounts for such alternative arrangements, under the terms and conditions of the airline companies. Lastly, in case of changes to your contact details, you must inform us promptly to ensure communication regarding your reservation. Notifications are sent exclusively to the email address provided during the reservation.
Issues with Your Transfer:
If you encounter any problems with your transfer, please contact us using the numbers provided in your reservation form. We will conduct an immediate investigation and rectify any anomalies that may arise. However, it is essential to inform us immediately, as any delay in reporting the issue may complicate the investigation and affect your rights under the agreement with the Carrier.
Please note that all observations and complaints must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 15 days of the date of the corresponding route. This allows us to examine the issues thoroughly and ensure full compliance with your contractual obligations.
Children and Persons with Special Needs:
During your reservation, please inform us if you are traveling with children. We recommend bringing your child safety system (child seats, boosters) with which you are familiar. If you do not wish to use your system, you can request the Carrier to provide one at the time of booking. Availability depends on the Carrier at the time of transfer. If there are no available child seats or boosters, you have the right to a refund for the additional cost you incurred for the transfer.
If you do not request a system, your child will use the vehicle’s systems, always in the rear according to instructions. However, it is advisable to always use your safety system or request one from the Carrier.
Please note that a child or infant is considered a regular passenger. Persons with special needs, such as disabilities, must inform us of their needs during the reservation and ensure that the chosen vehicle is suitable. They must also be able to enter the vehicle alone or with the assistance of their fellow passengers.
Baggage:
Each passenger is entitled to have with them one suitcase with a maximum combined size of 150 cm (length/width/height), as well as hand luggage, such as small bags and handbags, unless additional items have been specified during the reservation process. The suitcases must have the owner’s details and the destination address on them.
Any excess baggage must be declared during the reservation process. The customer is responsible for additional expenses in case extra vehicles are required for the transportation of undeclared luggage.
By accepting these terms, you agree to always comply with local laws and regulations where the transportation takes place. The transportation of items prohibited by local or general legislation, or items that may cause damage to third parties, is not allowed. The transportation of domestic animals is not allowed without prior declaration and the use of an appropriate cage. Additionally, the transportation of items of excessive size, weight, or sensitivity is prohibited. We recommend signing travel insurance for coverage of damages or losses.
